Alas! One of my favourite comedians, Bernie Mac, died this morning of complications arising from pneumonia, I always loved watching his show, The Bernie Mac Show, I liked the storyline and the concept, he was a very good actor also and featured in films such as Ocean’s Thirteen. He will really be missed, always very bold about his jokes, always looking youthful and full of exuberance, infact until this morning I had no idea he as as old as 50 years, I always assumed he was younger.  May his soul rest in peace.

Had a very quiet weekend, went out on Saturday after the Lagos environmental Sanitation and  attended the press conference for Shape-CD Africa left in the middle because I had to see someone. came back later for the training. it was quite an interesting training, I learnt a lot about the process of making CDs and also designing shapes for them. later went to Ota to see my parents on sunday. In all, I think it all went very well. Am looking forward to a very interesting week ahead.

Listened to a message today on the expressing Faith through Love and it got me thinking on why we want the things we do,

A friend of mine got hit by a phishing attack  about 3 weeks ago, he got a mail purportedly from Interswitch informing him that they were introducing a new security feature into their payment system and the feature required him to log in to activate it on his ATM card,

Besides the regular style of posting, WordPress also supports different ways of doing this job. For example, you can make posts by mailing to a specific account. This is possible if you set up an email account and make it available to WordPress. For posting by email, let us follow these steps.
Click on the Options menu and then Writing from the sub-menu.
At the bottom of this page, there is a section titled Writing by e-mail. You have to configure some settings before you can start posting by email.

You need to fill in your mail server name, Login name (usually, that is your full email address), and the Password. Finally, select the category to which these posts should go. To use, you have to send an email to the email account you have set up.
After sending an email to this address, access the following URL http://ur blog address/wp-mail.php using your browser. Then WordPress will connect to this email address, fetch the email, and then post it automatically.

I first heard about Windows Live writer about two weeks ago and I must admit I was skeptical. designed by Microsoft, the tool allows you to post to different blogs and blog engines form your Desktop

After discovering that it worked with Wordpress, I tried it out and I have not looked back since. It was able to connect to my blog and pick up the blog formatting setting I use, that way, when am writing a post, it allows me to visually see what it would look like before I post it.
