Online Presence
July 11th, 2008 — Anu OluwadareIt seems almost every higher in the institution now has online presence, most of them have a school portal where information and news about the school is disseminated.
Some have taken it a bit futher and added the ability for students to register for their semester courses online and pay their school fees online. while some have gotten it right, it seems that some still insist an adding a manual element to it and that is, the students after filling the form online have to print it out and take it around the departments where those courses are being offered to have the forms signed, as you can imagine, this ends up defeating the purpose of the portal, which was to ease the stress of semester registrations, hope someone out there is reading this and will make technology work for them and not the other way round.
